In Shadowlands 9.1, we are getting two new crafters marks called Crafter's Mark III and the Crafter's Mark of the Chained Isle.

The Crafters Marks

With the upcoming Shadowlands patch 9.1, we are getting some new marks are called the Crafter’s Mark III and the Crafter’s Mark of the Chained Isle. These marks will increase the item levels of your crafted gear. Here I will explain how you can get the recipes, what it will cost, and those markets can look for you.

Crafters Mark III

With the Crafter’s Mark III, you will be able to raise your crafted gear to item level 200. To get this recipe, you will need to get honored with the Death’s Advance in Korthia, and you need to have 2000 Stygia to buy the Recipe: Crafter’s Mark III from Duchess Mynx. Keep in mind that you will need to do this for every character with one of these six professions to craft the mark III.

The Crafters Mark III Market

This market may take off early when Shadowlands 9.1 gets released. I think players will want it for their alts to get into Korthia to start farming the Korthite Crystal from quests, caches, and killing rares. There may also be some that need catchup gear, but that is a smaller portion of the players’ base. Getting this recipe as fast as possible may be a good move to make gold early in shadowlands 9.1.

Alchemy seems to be the cheapest one of them all to craft the Crafter’s Mark III. However, Alchemy seems to be the one in the worse position. Most of the time, Alchemy is combined with a non-gear crafting profession, but this is not a problem because Blacksmithing is cheap. Blacksmithing, Engineering, and Jewelcrafting would be my second picks as they both don’t seem to cost that much to craft the Crafter’s Mark III.

Leatherworking and Tailoring are going to be very expensive. Especially the materials are needed to craft the legendaries rank 5 and 6. They will both get the material price up that will make them not cheap to make.

Crafter’s Mark of the Chained Isle

The other mark you will be able to craft is the Crafter’s Mark of the Chained Isle that can give crafted gear an item level of 230. Now there is a catch to it, and that is that a character can only wear one piece of gear with a Crafter’s Mark of the Chained Isle attached to it.

You can obtain the Crafter’s Mark of the Chained Isle recipe from Archivist Roh-Suir in Korthia. Unfortunately, it also requires a tier 4 research level with The Archivists’ Codex, and it will cost 2500 Cataloged Research. Also, here you will have to do this for every character that can craft a Crafter’s Mark of the Chained Isle.

The Crafter’s Mark of the Chained Isle Market

It will become an overall good market depending on which profession you are or can use to craft Crafter’s Mark of the Chained Isle. Here it is the same story with the Crafter’s Mark III and that some professions will be very expansive, and I’m not talking about the price increase due to the Vestige of Origins we will see in Shadowlands 9.1.

I recommend getting the characters that will craft the Crafter’s Mark of the Chained Isle to get them as fast as possible to start crafting them t avoid competition. Speed and time are the keys, I guess.

Last Thing

Finally, I want to say that buying the materials now will be very important to craft cheap to gain maximum profit. Keep your eye on the region price and the market value because that is the one we will be moving at a price the most in the first two weeks. You can check this if you are a TradeSkillMaster add-on user or on The Undermine Journal.

If you are a TradeSkillMaster add-on user, make sure you have your groups & operations ready when Shadowlands 9.1 gets released, and you only have to put the items in the right groups. That will save you a lot of time and work for later.
